L'Oreal Limited Edition Nail Polish for Philanthropy

Cranberry, Gooseberry and Blackberry are the colors of the Holiday season and they are not just for home decor. This year, L'Oreal is sprucing your festive look with its Limited Edition of a beautiful cranberry colored nail polish.

Nothing is more beautiful than topping off your holiday party look with an added touch that gives back and L’Oreal knows this very well.

L'Oreal has partnered with Glamour Magazine to design an exclusive and beautiful cranberry-colored nail polish, a limited edition nail polish shade, called Glamour Woman of the Year, in honor of the twentieth anniversary of Glamour's Women of the Year Awards. The Award honors women of achievement. The 2010 Women of the Year Fund Honoree, Dr. Hawa Abdi, has made it her mission to provide food, shelter and medical care to women and children escaping violence in Somalia. To read more about Dr. Abdi's story visit dhaf.org.

Three dollars ($3) of every bottle sold exclusively on ShopGlamour, that retails for $6.50, will directly support the humanitarian efforts of DHAF.

This is one nail polish the tops my list of 2010 fashion and beauty philanthropy success stories and makes an affordable stocking stuffer.

Carolina Bucci Bracelet is All about (RED)

I am a bangle and bracelet girl. My left wrist, along with a diamond crusted watch, is often accompanied by several bracelets all at one time. I'm not so much a necklace gal as I think they cut off and tend to shorten the beautiful line between the neck and collar-bone, I simply love bracelets and love to hear them clink against one another.

Carolina Bucci is no stranger to (RED). She has been a partner of (RED) with her Lucky bracelets. Recently, Carolina teamed up with (RED) to create a friendship bracelet. This couture bracelet, made of 18K red and black gold is interwoven with high-fashion gold and silk threads and joined with a gold clasp. Fifty (50) percent of the profits from each directly support the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.
